| 15 | Providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning at site in trenches bevelled ended BIS marked GMSERIW pipes of various grade L-290\\" or X-42 conforming to IS/ISO-3183-2007 or its equivalent API specifications latest with upto date amendments of following dia with upto date amendments having wall thickness and per Rmt weight as mentioned below & capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in random lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtr. The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welding including the cost of jointing with butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable ends with upto date amendments (leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied accessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees, bends and other specials manufactured from parent pipes as applicable to the particular reach & of approved specification as per site conditions and cutting of pipes wherever required as per site requirement Including carriage in all leads and lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The pipe shall haves zinc coating inside & out side conforming to IS/ISO-4736-1986 or latest with upto date amendments & shall be engraved with grade \\"L-290\\" code IS/ISO-3183-2007 or its equivalent. The laying shall conform to BIS 5822-1970 or latest with upto date amendments to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge (MS Flanges and butt welding joint shall be measured and paid for separately). (95% of the total Joints for Butt Welding & 5% of the total joints for MS Flanges) 200mm dia L-290 or X-42 4.80 mm thick. |

Laying, Jointing and Testing in trenches Galvanized mild steel flanged/butt welded pipe of below mentioned dia and grade conforming to IS 1239-2004 (with latest ammendments The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints as per table below conforming to 6392-1971 (Latest uptodate ammendments) and welding of M.S. flanges with pipe as per IS: 816-1965 with electrode as per IS. 814-1967 including required Nos, and size of M S. nuts and bolts as per IS 1369-1967 and compressed asbestos fibre jointing gaskets sheet not less than 3mm thick as per IS: 27121-1965. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in three layers in each face to make the joints leak proof including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube and to the entire satisfaction of enginer-in-charge. The pipes end should be bevelled suitable for butt welding The circumferencial butt welded joints (95% of the total joints) by electrical arc welding to following dia & class pipes, welding of pipes to be done in three layers to make the joints leak proof and to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS-816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects and including DPT test for joints & manual/mechnical handing of pipes. The laying of pipe shall confirm to BIS-5822 (with latest ammendments uptodate), including all kind of specials such as bends of all degree to be made from parent tube, short pieces, tail pieces all made from parent tube within all leads and lifts.
