| 1 | Supplying and Erection of Ground based tower at site with Hot dip Galvanized steel tower materials with mass of zinc coating of 610 gms/Sqm ( 85 micron thickness) consisting of angles, flats, bars, gusset plates including climbing ladders, cable carrying trays, working platforms with railings,web guides, racks, Antenna Mounts & fixtures, tower base plates, base angle frames, connecting plates, bolts & nuts, spring washers etc. all fabricated including cutting,drilling holes,grinding, punching & welding etc. all complete as per approved drawing, specification and as per direction of Engineer- in -charge . Galvanizing of members of the tower shall conform to IS 4759-1996 and 2629-1985 and the bolts ,nuts & plain washers shall be galvanized in accordance with IS: 1367 (Part XIII)- 1983 & Spring washers are to be electroplated coating of Zinc as per IS: 1573- 1986 or latest. |
| 2 | The structural steel for tower shall confirm to IS 2062-2011, IS 3502-1994 & IS 808-1989. The structural steel sections shall be of SAIL, RINL, TISCO, Jindal or JSW of size 50mm x 50mm and above and other smaller sections from other producers (Name of producers should be embossed on the sections ). Fabrication shall be as per IS 4757-1980, IS 800-2007. Nuts and bolts of grade 5.6 and plain washers as per IS: 6610-1972 & spring washers of type ‘B’ as per IS: 3063-1994 shall be used. Tower shall be painted with two or more coats with high gloss synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, manufacture and colour (International white and orange) over a coat of ETCH primer & one coat of Zinc Chromate yellow primer of approved brand and manufacture as per recommendation of the International Civil Aviation Rule including all components i.e. ladders, platforms with railings, web guides, racks,cable trays, Antenna mounts & fixtures etc. |
| 3 | Also supply of BASE PLATE and Anchor bolts for fixing base of tower manufactured of EN-8 steel bar of required length in single piece confirming to IS : 2062-1999, threaded at top 200 mm length and welded with lugs made from 100 mm x 100 mm x 10 mm thick of mild steel plates including suitable hexagonal nuts & check nuts and MS spring washers complete including 85 micron galvanizing for top 200mm length as per the drawing attached for 40 m tower and as designed by the agency for 50 m tower . |
| 4 | ALSO Providing and fixing ring earth consisting of specified and required ring size at site and laying of G.I. Flats of size 50 x 6 mm laid at the bottom of the tower foundation pit, one metre away from the tower base. The G.I. flats shall be connected with each other with G.I. nuts and bolts after placing lead strips/ lead wool of 90x50x1mm thick in between and with legs of tower with G.I. nuts and bolts with spring washers. All the joints shall be properly wrapped and sealed by water proof tape. The G.I flats shall be covered with fine and cohesive good earth all around and duly compacted. The G.I. flats shall be bent in such a way that curves are smooth having radius not less than one metre. Ring earth shall be connected to body of tower and lightening arrestor with GI strip of 25x6 mm The ohmic value of the earth resistance shall be 0.5 ohms or less. |
| 5 | Also Providing and fixing lightening Arrestor at the top of the tower (Lightening rod made of copper, with 12 mm dia and 600 mm length as per IS : 613 (2000)) with a spike on one end and threading on the other shall be provided on the top of the tower. Tin coated copper wire IS Mark of gauge 7/20 shall be provided form lower end of the lightening rod to the lug with a hole provided at 0.5m below the top of the tower as per approved design and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 6 | Also Providing and fixing LED aviation obstruction lamp of Binoy, Bajaj or equivallent make on the top of the tower with dependent resistance sensor (day and night automatic timer) switch with necessary MCB switches, cables, cable clamps etc., All complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge . |
| 7 | ( The rate is inclusive of the cost of the materials, labour charges, T & P, machineries etc., for all the operations as above including carriage, loading & unloading and all taxes as applicable . RATE IS INCLUSIVE OF GST. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account) |

| 9 | 50 m TOWER at KHAMMAM COLLECTORATE COMPOUND - Design / modification by the agency based on the 40 m tower drawing attached. Top 40 m shall be as per the drawing attached and bottom 10 m shall be suitably designed by the agency. Rate shall be quoted accordingly. modification will be approved by IIT Hyderabad. |
| 10 | Providing and Laying required RCC foundation as per the design including a) Earth work in excavation, refilling after casting foundation, disposal of excess earth b) providing required levelling course with 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) c) Reinforced Cement Concrete including centering and shuttering with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) also including smooth finishing of exposed surface of RCC work d) with Steel reinforcement of Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade 500 D or above includig cutting, bending, placing in position and binding e) fixing of ANCHOR BOLTS in proper position . f) RCC stem height shall be 450 mm above ground level. Also including any other miscellaneous works, COMPLETE for erection of tower. RATE IS INCLUSIVE OF GST |
| 11 | for 40 m tower at RAMAKRISHNA PURAM - foundation shall be designed by the agency and accordingly quote the rate for 40 m Ground based tower detailed in the drawing attached. The design will be checked and approved by IIT Hyderabad, modifications if required shall be carried out by the agency. Execution of ITEM shall be as per the approved drawing by Engineer-in-charge only. |
| 12 | for 50 m tower at Khammam Collectorate Compound - foundation shall be designed by the agency and accordingly quote the rate for 50 m Ground based tower designed/modified by him. The design will be checked and approved by IIT Hyderabad , modifications if required shall be carried out by the agency.
