| 4 | Interior Illuminated sign double sided Suspended, Projected, Post mounted. Drg. No.1.1.2 a, b. Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule etc complete all as specified as under. Sign Box: The sign box 110 mm deep shall be fabricated out of 1.6 mm thick CRCA MS sheet and reinforced with spot welded inverted hat section for entire length at top and bottom and connected with couple of ties at a max spacing of 750 mm. Parts will be laser cut blanks bent and assembled with spot and CO2 welding. Joints/welds shall be minimized on account of continuous channel bent at corners facilitating maximum dimensional accuracy and repeatability. Sign box shall be provided with a ventilation fixture with Mesh from inside for ventilation confirming to IP54. Complete sign box including channel supports are to be powder coated to match GreyG1. Sign box flange receiving the sign face shall be provided with slots to receive the screws to fix the sign frame. Sign panel - Both faces: Providing and fixing sign panel on 1 side of sign box made out of 1.6 mm thick CRCA MS sheet frame fabricated to required size and shape, the frame shall be welded on 2 bottom corners making a 'L' and top part of frame fixed at site after inserting the sign face, complete frame shall be powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2. Sign face shall be made in 8 mm thick Opal white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate. The films to wrap around the edge of the acrylic to a distance of 25 mm on the back side. The Plotter cut block out vinyl shall match the specified colour (colour Pantone 2766 and Pantone 667C) and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The 'L' frame to be made out of single sheets in continuous length without any joints and fixed to sign using cross headed M4 screws the top member of frame shall be fixed using cross headed M4 screws to allow opening the frame for servicing lights. Powder coating shall be done on all internal as well as external surfaces. Illumination: Providing and fixing the LED strips for proper illumination Lighting suitable for sign box (make osram, lucoled or equivalent) – lifespan of 50,000 +hrs 6500K with optimal homogeneous backlighting & light throw of minimum4”) with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlap to avoid banding and dark spots and adhering to the LUX levels of 300 Lux. Sign mounting frame: The sign mounting frame made up of 40x40x5 mm MS Equal angles as a frame back to back provided with welded angle cleats plates in 40x40x5 mm MS Equal angles along the perimeter of frame with slots to receive the rivets to fix the sign frame as per drawing. Complete mounting frame including channel supports are to be Powder Coated to match GreyG2 of approved make and duly approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Sign panel - Both faces: Providing and fixing sign face panels on either side of mounting frame made out of 4 mm thick Aluminium composite sheet white colour (as specified) folded and riveted over a frame fabricated in 25x25x2 mm MS square Hollow section to required size and shape, with welded Gusset plates in 2 mm thick MS Sheet 100 mm long at 300 mm c/c along the perimeter of frame the frame matching the gussets on mounting frame, complete frame shall be Powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2 before receiving the folded Aluminium composite panel All corners of sign face shall be finished and filled neat with white/clear silicon sealant. Graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate. The Plotter cut block out vinyl to match the specified colour (colour Pantone 2766 and Pantone 667C) and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The sign panel shall be fixed to sign mounting frame using Blind rivets. All Powder coating shall be done on all internal as well as external surfaces. Fabrication of Hollow section shall ensure no openings/cavities for access of moisture to the inside of hollow section. Entire post structure along with mounting frame to be welded and finished in PU paint to match GreyG3 colour. The item includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location on the footpath, excavation, fixing sign in PCC 1:2:4 as per drawing and finishing and making good the location to match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. Providing and fixing stone pedestal made out of sadarhalli stone duly approved by engineer-in-charge using cement sand mortar as per drawing. Cost to include all fixtures nuts, bolts, screws, washers, anchor fasteners etc required for fixing the various parts of the sign. |

The angles shall be cut to accommodate the post profile and welded to post to make a rigid connection. The frame shall be provided with MS angle spacers at corners to control the dimension.
