Operation, running and maintenance of lift water supply scheme i.e. centrifugal pumps, mono submersible pumps 5HP/10HP and electrical slippring/induction motor 150 HP including replacement/repair of any spare parts, panel boards and rewiring as required for smooth running of the scheme and any other unforeseen items not covered regarding repair, maintenance and operation of the scheme, terms and condition is also appended. The Three nos. skilled labour (two pump operator & one fitter), two nos. semiskilled labour( Asstt. Pump operator) and two Nos. Unskilled labour( watch & ward) for smooth running of the scheme for 16 hours/day . The service provider will also be responsible for payment of statutory liabilities such as EPF, ESI, Sundays and Holidays as notified by the HP Govt. as well as labour law and the same will be deposited / paid to the persons deputed in the University for this job.. Only labour escalation will be applicable as per revision of labour wages by the HP Govt. during the contract period except material/ repair of machinery. In case the scheme remains out of order more than 48 hours, penalty @ 0.5% of the awarded amount will be deducted per day. The whole expenditure on repair of four Nos. mono submersible pumps with allied accessories along with electronic control panel and starter of motors will be borne by the contractor himself .And repair of two Nos. 150 HP pump with motor along with allied accessories, up to Rs. One Lakh per year will be borne by the contractor & above Rs. One lakh expenditure per annum will be borne by the University with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge on the recommendation of the Assistant Engineer (PH).
