Dismantling and Refixing of Prayon Filter Tray Assembly:After getting process clearence dismantle the splash guards,splash guard support angles/frames, cell control lever, filter hose etc. of the tray to be replaced. Dismantle the CI bearings (inside and outside) of the tray. Lift and transport the tray to the repair bay. Leak test the trays and repair the tray for the damage/cracks etc. Set new CI bearings on the filter shafts. Ensure the bearings suits the filter shafts (bearings have only design clearence with shaft) under the supervision of concerned engineer. Replace the filter grid segments and filter cloth. Any modification in the filter grid segments shall be done. After getting clearance,shift and transport the repaired/spare tray assembly to the site and erect the filter tray to position. Position the CI bearings on the frame and properly tighten the base bolts and cover bolts. Mount the control level assembly, filter hose, splash guard frames,splash guards etc. Twin arm rollers,shaft,bolts if required shall be replaced.Filter hose if required shall be replaced with new hose as per instructions. Take trial run and ensure the tray doesnt entangle with other trays/filter support channel. Any rework arising out of this shall be done by the contractor. After successful trial run clear the site and transport the scrap to earmarked area/scrap yard as per instructions.

Replacement of Filter Cloth-Collect the required materials from store. Make necessary site arrangements for the work. Unbolt the lock strips and remove old cloth from the filter trays as per instruction. After getting clearance mount new clothes on the tray and tighten the lock strips completely. Removed cloths shall be collected and transported to earmakked location.[This item shall be worked out only in case if a tray is not taken out (item 01) and cloth is required to be replaced.]

Replacement of Support Roller Assembly-Make required site arrangement for the work. After getting clearance, support the filter frame suitably using a jack. Dismantle the support roller from the roller frame. Transport the damaged roller to earmaked area. Dismatle the end cover,eccentric pin and bearing from the roller. Transport new rollers,bearings,eccentric pins etc. from store to work site. Assemble new support roller with shaft and bearings. Mount the support roller on the frame and fix the end covers. Adjust the support roller level. After completion of work, unmount the jack and clear the site.

Dismantling and Re Mounting of Pinion Assembly-Make necessary site arrangements for the work. After getting process clearance, dismantle the foundation bolts of pinion and foundation plates. Decouple the pinion shaft from the gearbox. Lift and move the pinion from the foundation and transport it to the work shop for inspection. Dismantle the pinion,bearings and coupling from the shaft as per site instructions. After inspection mount the pinion,bearings coupling etc.back on the shaft. Transport the pinion assembly to the work site. Fix the base plate on the foundation. Erect the pinion on the base plate. Check the meshing of the pinion and girth gear as per site instructions. Full tighten all bolts. After completion of work,clear the site. Any temporary dismantling required to lift and move the shaft shall be done and the same shall be reinstated after completion of work. Any modification works in foundation/providing additional base bolts etc. is also in the scope of contract.

Alignment of Prayon Filter-Collect requirement tools and tackles from store and tool crib and make required arrangement for the work. Cut the filter channels inner and outer ends from the frame. As per site instructions align the inside and outside frames of the filter as per site instructions. After completing the frame alignment, weld back the filter channels in the new position and provide new bolts in the shoe area.Filter channels if found damaged shall be replaced with new channel.Twin arm roller track shall be patch worked/material filling to be done if required. Overall levelling of the filter shall be done by adjusting the levels inside and outside suport rollers. After finalising the alignment and levelling of the filter,alignment of girth gear,pinion,gearbox and motor shall be done. Skilled assistance for filter alignment shall be provided till complete alignment is done. After complete levelling and alignment,trail run shall be taken and any correction/rework if required shall be done. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
