Replacement/Erection of CS rubber lined pipes and fittings. Work involves: Collection/Transportation of Rubber lined pipes & fittings from the Stores/Rubber Lining Area/Plant Area to the worksite. Upon receiving clearance, the damaged rubber-lined pipes & fittings shall be dismantled and removed from different postions/elevation/pipe bridges etc at the site. Suitable rubber-lined pipes and fittings shall be erected with proper gaskets and tight the flange joints properly. The contractor shall ensure that the pipeline is leak-free prior to handover and shall also ensure that proper pipe supports are provided for the pipeline so that the pipeline remains free from strain and corrective measures are to be taken as necessary. While replacing a damaged pipe, if an undamaged pipe also needs to be replaced for any reason, the length of the damaged pipe plus half the length of the undamaged pipe shall be considered for billing. After the replacement, the damaged pipe shall be transported to the rubber lining area or plant area as per the instructions of the Officer-in-Charge. The pipe size range from 80NB to 300NB.

Fabricating and installing clamps for pipelines carrying various types of fluids.Work involves: Collection/Transportation of required materials from Stores/Plant Area to the worksite. Fabricate Leak-Repair-Clamps for the pipelines carrying various fluids such as phosphoric acid, fire water, cooling water, raw water, compressed air, etc. in different sizes, and maintain them in stock for immediate replacement in the event of pipeline leaks. Upon receiving clearance, the leak rectification work shall be attended by fixing clamps at various elevation. The pipe sizes for providing clamps range from 25NB to 300NB.

Rectification Of Flange Leakes:Work involves: Collection/Transportation of necessary tools and consumables from Stores/Plant Area to the worksite. Upon receiving clearance, dismantle the mating flange/pipeline for repairing the damaged flange. Repair the flange face at site by cutting, welding and grinding as instructed by Officer-in-Charge. Fix back the mating flanges/pipieline with new gasket and tight the flange joints properly. The contractor shall ensure that the pipeline is leak-free prior to handover.

Dismantling and Refixing of Flow meters/Control Valves/Valves:Work involves: Collection/Transportation of necessary tools and consumables from Stores/Plant Area to the worksite. Upon receiving clearance, dismantle the valves from position, clean it and transport to the workshop/scrapyard as per the instruction of the Officer-in-Charge, collect the replacement valve and fix it in position with new gasket. The contractor shall ensure that the pipeline is leak-free prior to handover and shall also ensure that proper supports are provided for the valve so that the pipeline remains free from strain and corrective measures are to be taken as necessary. Size range from 80 NB to 300 NB.

Reclamation of usable flanges:Work involves: Reclamation of old but usable flanges shall be carried out by recovering them from scrap pipes by cutting, welding, and grinding, followed by transportation to the General Workshop for machining. Once machining is completed transport them back to the Mechanical Maintenance shed in the NP/Offsite Plant and stack it properly. Where flanges are reclaimed from rubber-lined pipes, the contractor shall remove the rubber lining prior to cutting. Flange size range from 50 NB to 300 NB. Material- CS/MS/SS.
