NS Item) Providing and laying of Shelmac ready mix bituminous material for instant restoration of patchwork, repair of potholes, depression and road cuts to provide uniform and smooth riding surface complete in all respect. The contractor shall prepare the required surface for maximum results i.e. remove standing water / loose debris/ dust with brush from potholes, will pour Shelmac directly from the bag into potholes. Compaction will be done with a simple hand rammer so as to cure quickly enough to open to traffic immediately after the compaction is completed. The contractor shall arrange all the safety measures during the execution of the above said job and nothing extra shall be paid on this account by the Department.
