Electrode must be tested for a short circuit test of minimum 40 KA at CPRI/ NABL. The earthing electrode will be placed in the ground after a bore is drilled to the depth of 3.5 metre. The bore drilling will be done with the help of a pneumatic boring machine, 50 kgs BFC will be placed in the bore to cover the earthing rod from all sides. BFC will poured in slurry form in properly mixed condition. The earth pit cover 300x300x240 mm to be provided to cover the earth pit and shall be made of reinforced FRP and should be capable of carrying the weight of 5 Tons complete all as specified and directed.
