The rate shall include handling, loading, unloading, transportation up to the tube well site, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost also includes third-party inspection of M.S. casing pipe from a Government approved/designated agency. |

| 5 | Gravel packing to be done as per the latest IS 4097 and IS 2800, including supply of properly graded gravel of required size, shrouding after lowering of liner assembly and during development of tube well, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (To be charged as per actual). |
| 6 | Development and stabilization of Tube Well shall be carried out in accordance with IS: 11189. The work includes deployment of an air compressor of required capacity, lowering of airline along with column pipes, and development of the tube well by cleaning from top to bottom and subsequently from bottom to top. The compressor shall be operated for the required duration until sand-free potable water is obtained from the tube well.Stabilization and yield testing of the tube well shall be carried out using a Submersible Pump / VT Pump of adequate capacity as per specifications, until the yield and drawdown of the tube well are ascertained and sand-free clear water with optimum discharge at appropriate head is achieved. Discharge shall be measured by V-notch method or any other approved method. The work also includes collection of water samples and testing in an approved laboratory. The rate shall include cost of hire, running and labour charges of compressor, submersible pump / VT pump and all allied accessories.Fabrication, providing and fitting of steel supporting structure for clamping of tube well housing using 2 Nos. parallel ISMB-200 beams of 5 m length each, MS Angle 40×40×6 mm, MS Plate 10 mm thick, along with 2 Nos. cement concrete blocks of size 1.00 m × 1.00 m × 1.00 m (one at each end) and proper capping of tube well. The rate shall include cost of material and labour charges complete. |
| 7 | Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of submersible pump set of suitable capacity as per the available discharge and head of the tube well, coupled with 3-phase, copper-wound, squirrel-cage induction motor conforming to relevant/latest IS specifications.The Job includes providing, fabricating and fitting of G.I. flanged column pipes (3.0 m length each) of suitable diameter as per discharge requirement, lowering of submersible pump set with G.I. riser/column pipes and copper submersible cable into the tube well with the help of chain pulley block and other required tools and tackles, up to the required depth as per the available head.The job further includes providing, fabricating and installing 3-phase automatic starter-cum-control panel of required rating, suitable for protection against over-current, short-circuit, single phasing, dry run and over/under voltage conditions, housed in weather-proof sheet steel enclosure suitable for outdoor installation.Providing and laying of submersible copper cable of required size and length from control panel to submersible motor, and providing and laying of 3½ core aluminum armored cable of required size and length from automatic voltage stabilizer to main power connection.Providing, installing, testing and commissioning of a 3-phase, copper-wound, oil-cooled Voltage Stabilizer of suitable capacity as per the connected load requirement, suitable for 415 V, 50 Hz, AC supply. The stabilizer shall be complete with digital voltmeter and ammeter, input–output indication, and inbuilt protections against overload, short circuit, and single phasing. The work shall include all necessary control wiring, proper earthing, foundation (if required), transportation, loading, unloading, and complete commissioning at site.The job also includes providing and fixing of delivery pipe (as per site requirement), bends, valvesand other necessary fittings required for proper commissioning of the submersible pump set.The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, carriage, loading, unloading, tools and tackles, and any other incidental items required for satisfactory completion and commissioning of the pump set, complete in all respects.
