| 4 | Installation of Gabion Boxes/Mattress (Mesh Type 6 x 8, thickness - 0.3m) made out of hexagonal woven wire mesh type zinc with pvc coated gabion boxes of different size such as(3m x 2m x 0.3m; 4m x 2m x 0.3m; 5m x 2m x 0.3m; and 6m x 2m x 0.3m) and smaller sizes, as necessary, etc. as per requirement at site filled with hard granite stones of nominal size between 15 Cm to 30Cm, compacting the stones inside gabion boxes with minimum voids and tying, stiching with lacing wire and heavily galvanised steel rings of 3mm dia having tensile strength of 170kg/mm2 with a spacing of rings @200mm c/c and placing in position with help of cranes and by other mechanical means including at all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control testing charges with construction, maintenance , watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads all cost of materials, conveyance, taxes, machineries & Labour Cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
