Gate at Jarai Minor at Kathua Canal (4' × 4'):Fabrication and installation of a new Gate at the proposed head works at Jarai Minor on Kathua Canal to regulate irrigation water by way of fabrication of leaf structure of size 1.21m × 1.21m (approx.) using ISMC 75 channel size with vertical & horizontal cross members for support by way of cutting as per required size and then welding using superior quality electrodes. The leaf is to be fabricated with 3 number horizontal supports and 3 number vertical supports at equidistance from each other. The supports should be fabricated out of ISMC 75 channel.Providing and welding the MS sheet of 6 mm thickness on the frame of fabricated MS channel. The job also includes complete fabrication of outer frame MS structure of size (2.75m × 1.21m) by MS channel of ISMC 100 consisting of groove channels, base channels and checking it for trouble free operation.Top hoisting channel consisting of 2 number of ISMC 125 of length 1.82 meters each.Fabrication of L shaped clamps attaching stem rod attachment during up and downward movement of gate.Fabrication, providing & fitting of 03 Ton capacity manually operated worm gear type winch machine along with stem rod and base plate of 10 mm thickness, oiling and greasing the gear and bearings mechanism before fitting.Providing and fitting of rain pipe over the winch machine to secure the stem rod and machinery.Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the mechanical transport for carrying to site of installation. Unloading the gate structure at road side then shifting to the site of installation.Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf structure into the sliding grooves using skilled manual labour and hydra. Fitting of winch machine on the supporting channel and connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure.Complete painting of gate structure with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of superior quality enamel paint.Complete job includes cost of material, transportation charges, labour charges, hiring charges of generator, hydra charges and testing for its smooth operation at site.Note: The tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rate as per site conditions.
