Please note that further finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the GE as well as Engineer In Charge.(ii) Whitewash shall be made by making the lime slaked at the site and shall be mixed and stirred with about 5 litres of water for 1kg of unslaked lime to make a thin cream. This shall be allowed to stand for a period of 24 hours and shall then be screened through clean coarse cloth. 1 kg of gum dissolved in hot water shall be added to everyone cubic meter of lime cream. About 1.3 kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lime for making the coating hard and rub resistant. Small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the last two coats of white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

(i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the GE as well as Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further finishes.
