| 21 | Repairs to submersible pumpset of capacity 10 - 15 HP, 3 phase, 415 volts involving the following operations :(a) Opening of the defective motor in MES yard / pump house/ workshop, cleaning the covers and parts as applicable in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to ascertain the quantum of defects and repairs involved.(b) Transporting the defective motor to contractor's workshop for repairs as directed by the Engineer in Charge and carrying out the needful repairs including replacement of defective unserviceable parts.(c) Assembling the motor after repair.d) Spray painting the repaired motor externally with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of shade as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Transporting the repaired motor to MES yard/ workshop and carrying out necessary test in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to establish the functionability of the repaired motor up to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
