| 1 | Material and Labour for checking the serviceability of different spares / components / parts of security light fittings, street light, post top and bolard light etc. of any wattage & capacity of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/ damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings after cleaning and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | Note for item No. 1.00 :-(i) New parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule as 'Supply only'. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/ security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire , gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/ security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above item including rectification of cable fault & over head fault by fault finding/identification. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/ working condition. (v) Contractor shall attend the said job as and when ordered by Engineer-in-Charge and replace the spare parts / fittings immediately without any delay. (vi) Immediately, on acceptance of contract, material shall be brought by the contractor on priority basis after getting approved and attend the complaint on priority basis. (vii) Site of work is scattered in Domestic and Technical area and the contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting the rates. (viii) Contractor's supervisor shall attend the office of Engr-in-charge at 0900 hrs every day (except holiday) to get the task / location / nature of compaint and in the evening, shall give feed back of compaint. |
| 3 | Supply only 1.5 sqmm three core PVC insulated and sheathed copper conductor multistrand cable for electric connection from overhead line / junction box to street light complete all as specified. |
| 4 | Supply and Fix as in repairs street light bracket made of GI Pipe 25 mm dia light grade 1.5 Mtr in length, bent to required shape for proper lighting at required place, fixed with 2 Set of MS Clamps made out of flat iron 40x4mm, incl bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Supply and Fixing junction box weather proof made out of PVC, pole mounted, hinged door size 333 x 233 x 200mm out side and 300 x 200 x 105mm inside dimension comprising of aluminium bus bar 4 strips for 3 phase and neutral 100 Amp including 6 to 10 A MCB, clamps with necessary MS nut, bolts and washers etc as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Sintex/ Hensel or equivalent duly approved by Accepting officer |
| 6 | Supply and laying/fixing HDPE (DWC) pipe of outer dia not less 50mm fixing on poles, walls, under floors/roads, drain crossing and laying on surface etc as reqd at site as in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: All items and accessories, bend joints, nut bolts and clamps etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. |
| 7 | Material and Labour for prepration of old painted steel tubular pole 8.5/9 meter height by scraping with steel wire brush and cleaning the rust of pole and cross arm / brackets and applying aluminium paint two coats over a coat of red oxide primer and providing Blue (AF) and white strips with synthetic enamel paint 30 cm each alternate upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with blue strip and writing the existing/new pole number with black paint in yellow circle of dia 150 mm , complete all as specified and as directed . |
| 8 | Material and labour for painting with one coats of synthetic enamel paint on RCC pole from 1.5 mtr above the GL and balance 1.5 m from ground level will be painted by synthetic enamel paint in alternatively black and white strap of 30 cm after scraping /removing the existing paint and the preparation on the surface of RCC LT pole.
