| 6 | Supplying and fixing in repair Retro-reflective regulatory sign board of size 1200 x 1500 mm made out of 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro-reflective sheeting as approved by GE . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to Stainless steel(SS) frame of 25mmX 25mm X 1.6mm square hollow section. The boards will be fixed with 50mm dia SS pipe of height 2100mm (From GL to top of sign board) and 600mm leg of 50mm dia SS pipe embedded below GL and filled with PCC (1:2:4) in post hole of size 450x450x600 mm including necessary excavation and removal of surplus soil away from site complete all as directed . |
| 7 | M&L for preparing old black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.30 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for Road and Bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed |
| 8 | M&L for providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, with using paving bitumen VG-30 laid/spread uniformly by means of pavers over primed black top surfaces, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Filling of any pot holes (coming in the area to be re-carpeted) in the above item not exc 30mm depth by material of premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. |
| 9 | M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, with using paving bitumen VG-30, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. |
| 10 | Supplying and fixing in repair Retroreflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
