| 2 | A) Diesel Engine : Turbo charged Diesel Engine ( conforming to BS:649/5514), multi cylinder, dynamically balanced flywheel, electric start of suitable BHP at 1500 rpm capable of taking 10% over loading for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation., Dry exhaust mainfold with silencer and Diesel oxidation catalyst & selective catalyst reduction system (isolated from main DG chamber), up to 1.50 M exhaust piping (with LRB insulation & Alum. cladding ) as required .Diesel engine should have Precise emission control by treatment with Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)/Aqueous urea tank (above 82.5 KVA) as per CPCB 4+ norms |
| 3 | B) Alternator : AC Brush less SPDP Synchronous alternator rated of appropriate KVA, 415 volts at 1500 rpm, 3 phase, 50 Hz, ac supply with 0.8 lagging power factor. Alternator conforming to BS 5000 (part 99) or IS/IEC 60034-1. . Alternator shall be self regulated with standard Alternator Protection( Over voltage , over speed & under voltage, under speed warning & shutdown). |
| 4 | C) Canopy : CPCB / ARAI approved Standard canopy with Weatherproof, powder coated Accoustic enclosure for DG set for sound attenuation fabricated from CRCA sheet steel (structure) including sidewals & filled with glasswool (96Kg/m3) /PU Foam. as per IS8183 and the thickness of the doors should be 28/40/50/85 mm as per rating . All doors/opening are sealed with neoprene /EPDN gaskets. The DG Set has Inbuilt / External in fuel tank to run 6 to 8 Hrs along with DEF tank (as per OEM standards). There should be provision of protection and tripping of DG set for temperature greater than 50 degree centigrade. The enclosure should be suitable for following capacity DG sets and alternator. Noise level shall be less than 75 dB at a distance of 1 Mtrs. in open free field environment as per ISO 8528 part 10 duly certified by authorised agency etc. |
| 5 | D) Instruments : Electronic / Mechanical governor, Manual & electric Start ,Batteries with battery charger, Electronic fuel system, advanced after treatment system (ATS), Exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) System along with Diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) and Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) , supply module and DCU to control and monitor DEF. Engine instruments panel should have microprocessor based Genset monitoring system capable of displaying Running Hour, RPM, lubbrication oil pressure indication, lubrication oil temperature, battery charging indication, overspeed indication, fuel level etc. The control Panel should equipped with MCCB/ACB of suitable rating. |
| 6 | E) Base frame and foundation : Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel & coupled through a flexible coupling or close coupled which shall be installed on existing cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangements as per recommendation of manufacturer. |
| 7 | F) First filling of the FUEL Tank and DEF tank shall be done by contractor. |
| 8 | G) DG set will be offered for Inspection and Testing at OEM's Works ( as per approved QAP ) in presence of Departmental Engineers .In case of 13 hour running testing at OEM's works, cost of actual consumables will be reimbursed. |
| 9 | Note: 1. During the DLP, the contractor shall arrange for servicing of the DG set through authorized dealer of OEM, as per the manufacturers guidelines. The actual cost of consumables used during servicing will be reimbursed to the contractor by the end user department.2. Manufacturer / OEM must have its authorized service dealer in Rajasthan. Which can provide service within 6 Hours of compalint registration. |
