Repairs to damaged floating oil raft lying deployed at Tulibal sopore by way of hiring suitable earthmoving machine/ other Mechanism to shift partially submerged and damaged floating oil raft from river bank to safe working place . The job then involves repairs to damaged floating drums/ Main Deck of M.S plate at various leakage/ cracked spots with welding process & using M.S strips of suitable size & length to cover circumferential & longitudinal crack to make it strong & leak proof. The job includes charges on a/c of D.G set, welding set, Gas cutter, load carrier, earthmoving machine/ Other Mechanism, dewatering pump with HSD, labourers, superior quality electrodes of 7018 grade and skilled welder for completing the repair work. After successful completion of repair works lowering down oil raft at bank of river Jhelum & checking that no leakage occurs in floating drums. The job also includes p/f of Nylon rope of 20 mm dia for floating oil raft (50ft) for anchoring purpose for completion of work. The job also involves replacement of damaged nuts & bolts of HDPE pipes as per sample (6kg) with new ones with the help of skilled labours, other tools & tackles for the completion of work

Repairs to damaged wooden boat deployed with soya-II Dredger at Hajin Bandipora by way of Shifting damaged wooden boat from the river water to the off shore engaging the manual labours, tripod, tools & tackles as per site requirement. The job then involves using skilled carpenter for inspection the hull, planks, ribs, and joints should be checked carefully for leaks, loose nails etc. After inspection boat must be cleaned properly by way of washing the surface with water and allow it to dry completely to prepare the boat for repair. The job then involves replacement of damaged nails with new ones, small gaps between the wooden planks are filled with material such as cotton fiber or oakum, after filling the gaps, a marine caulking compound is applied to seal the joints and prevent water leakages.
