Providing and fixing PCC kerbs of size 2’-0” x 9” having 4” thickness at bottom and 3” thickness at top and made of plain cement concrete 1:2:4 duly vibrated and compacted. The rates also includes fixing in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints, except at sharp curve, shall not be more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved. DSR 15.60

Preparation of sub grade including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level and camber, watering, rolling with a road roller and compaction of bed complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III): 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) DSR 4.1.10

Providing and fixing 100 x 100 x 75 mm cobble stone block of approved colour & shade ,hand cut and chisel dressed on top laid over 20mm thick base mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints 10mm wide filled with same mortar including ruled pointing etc. complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge.
