| 6 | Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable or for pole etc complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Mechanical excavation is not allowed in this Stn. Hence only manual excavation is allowed and the rate shall be quoted accordingly. |
| 7 | Returning and filling in two parts (i) using riddled soil obtained from excavated soil upto a depth of 30cm (8 cm below cable and remaining above cable) for cushioning of cable and (ii) refilling the trench of remaining depth with normal excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Excavated soil shall be riddled by using sieve to separate composite particles etc as per IS 1255 : 1983 and refilling in trenches for cable cushioning complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 8 | Removing surplus soils to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all complete as specified and as directed. |
| 9 | M&L for sub main wiring with 2 runs of 1.5 sqmm (nominal cross-sectional area) PVC insulated unsheathed single core flame retardant cable (FR) of working voltage 1100 volts grade with stranded copper conductor including one run of 1.5 Sqmm (nominal cross sectional area) PVC insulated unsheathed flame retardant cable (FR) with stranded copper conductor as continuous earth wire connected to main switches DBs or in common earth dolly drawn through 20 mm dia PVC rigid non- metallic conduit including flexible PVC pipe at starting and finishing point after and including taking down / dismantling old unserviceable sub main wiring including conduit etc of any description complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Two runs of power wiring cable alongwith one run of earth wire and one run of PVC rigid non metallic conduit shall be measured as one length. |
