Details of Sopply/Work. - Regular maintenance of lawn, trees, shrubs, hedges, ground cover and flower beds in the lawn by deputing the required number of well-experienced personnel, including weeding of all undesired growth, watering, trimming, forking, loosening of soil around plants and lawns, etc., including replacement of dried plants and grass with fresh plants of the same variety, inclusive of the cost of all labour and materials, to complete the job as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and planting seasonal flowering plants in flower beds in lawn for 6 month

Preparation of lawn bed by trenching the area soil, including breaking of clods; removal of stones, brick bats, extra vegetation and all other unwanted materials, including disposal. The soil shall be loosened up to a depth of 30 cm, turned over and the top layer containing weeds, etc., buried in the soil. This shall include mixing of fine earth, sand and well-rotten manure in the ratio of 2:1:1 (excluding the cost of sand and manure), spreading evenly, levelling and dressing the surface to the required shape and slope for grassing, and flooding the area with water. After 10 days, the top layer and soil up to 75 mm depth shall be broken down to particles of size not more than 25 mm in any direction. Thereafter, rough dressing shall be carried out and all unevenness made good by final dressing, including uprooting of weeds and removal of undesired growth, with disposal of rubbish. The item includes the cost of all labour, tools and plants (T&P), etc., required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.*
