| 1 | Comprehensive maintenance including periodical servicing & reguler inspection of DG sets of following capacities by the authorised technician / service engineer of OEM or their authorised service dealer, checking the mechanical and electrical healthyness of the diesel engine and alternator, routine servicing of the DG set including cleaning & replacement of air filter, changing of fuel filter and lub oil filter as per schedule, minor adjustment of control parameters, tracing out the defects and replacement of defective spares including taking out the old unserviceable one to keep the DG set healthy and serviceable as specified and directed by Engr in Charge at site. Notes :- (a) Spares will be measured and paid separetely here in after as applicable. (b) The DG set to be inspected and maintained at least once in a month on reguler interval as prescribed by the OEM and additional attendance for maintenances on as required basis are to be carried out. Maintenance of DG Sets are to be planned and carried out in a staggered manner so that more than one DG Set of any one installation is not brought under maintenance at a time. (c) In case, any abnormality found in between normal routine inspections, the service personnels must attend the service call urgently within 24 hrs. (d) The unit rate quoted includes servicings on monthly basis for entire contract period. (For overhauled DG Sets, monthly servicing will be measured on completion of 2 months or 250 Hours run after overhauling - whichever is earlier. Service charge will not be paid for DG Sets laying off road continuously for more than 10 days in a calender month. (e) Apart from these routine servicings, major repair/replacement if any will be measured and paid separetely available within the scope of this schedule.(f) Certain spares either will be measured as supply only as mentioned in the schedule here in after against corresponding items or will be issued by the department as per availibility in store under Schedule 'B' free for fixing.(g) All types of repairs and maintenance carried out time to time has to be recorded by the contractor's rep, / supervisor and endorsed by JE and AGE regularly.
