| 10 | Supply and laying in replacement of tubes medium grade galvanised plain end with all fittings laid in trenches of size 150 mm bore including all fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) Flanges to be provided at every 6 m length of plain end pipe or shorter length as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Flange will be welded to the GI pipe and gasket to be provided between two flanges and will be fixed with 04 Nos of nuts and bolts (M16 Type) at each jointing. Flanges will be of IS-6392 specifications. The cost of flanges, nuts & bolts, gaskets and connecting of flanges to pipeline by welding will be deemed to be included in the quoted item rate.(ii) All standard fittings such as bends (any type, radius or angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) TEE pieces single branch, 'Y' Junction, double branch, cross collars, cap and plugs, MS flanges complete bends, TEE pieces, collars, elbow, tail piece etc jointing are deemed to be included in the quoted item rate. Make of fittings - ISI marked.(iii) Jointing of pipe line will be done through flanging only and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid separately. (v) Any special fittings to be fabricated at site as per typical site condition will be measured and paid seprately.(vi) Welding of flanges to be done by trained personnels at site and included in the quoted rate for normal flange joints for nominal length of pipes. However if the welding of pipes (other than normal flanged joint at nominal length) is required the same shall be measured and paid separately.(vii) Execution of work should be carried out without hampering the daily routine water supply. |

| 14 | M&L for construction of brick/ stone masonary valve pit chamber including dismantling existing of size 1.2 mtr x 1.2 mtr x 1.2 mtr internal dimention with 3.15 mm thick MS cover including 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron frame with 100 mm hinges embedded in coping with locking arrangement and painting the MS surfaces with two coat of redoxide primer and syntheatic enamel paint. The chamber shall be of PCC 1:4:8 type D2 40 mm graded aggregate for foundation, brick work in cement mortar, 75 mm PCC coping with PCC 1:3:6 type C1, 15 mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary excavation, earth work and colour washing internally and externally surfaces all as specified and directed. |
