| 3 | (C) Electric system : The electric system of the starter motor and charging alternator shall have the following components:- (i) Charging alternator 12V or 24V, DC (ii) Voltage regulator built in type IC regulated (iii) Starter motor 12 volts DC/24V DC (iv) Battery 12 volts DC and suitable capacity and quantity as per OEM standards with one set of connecting leads of suitable size copper cable. (D) Fuel tank (Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold fuel for minimum 8 hours or running at Full load and shall be including fuel level indicator duly marked to read 25%, 50%, 75%,100% per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel and digital display and drain out facility etc. compelte all as specified. |
| 4 | (E) AMF Control Panel : Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel shall be able to start up the DG set and transfer the load on to the DG set on main failure without requiring any human intervention . Similarly on restoration of Main supply it shall be able to transfer the DG set automatically alognwith provision of by pass arrangements of main supply. The AMF panel shall be with in enclosure having IP-53 degree of protection conforming to IS:13947 (Part-I) 1993 fabricated from minimum 1.6mm thick CRCA sheet steel duly pre treated aesthetically finished and shall be dust and vermin proof. The AMF panel shall have the following accesseories:- (a) Micro processor based relay wiht composite meter for digital display of (i) Generator voltage/AC main voltage (ii) Generator current (iii) Power factor (iv) frequency (v) Energy (KWH) (vi) Engine start (vii) On delay time for load change over (viii) On delay time for engine shut off (ix) Fuel level reading in ltr (b) Mode selector for setting the panel on any one position such as 'Off' or 'Auto' or 'Manual' or 'Test' (c) Engine ON-OFF switch (push button type) (d) MCCB of capacity of 100 Amp FP suitable to alternator 415 volts 25 KA-1 No |

| 11 | NOTE for Sl item No.1 & 2:- a) Design and drawings of the DG set shall be prepared as recommended by the OEM. The same shall be got approved from GE before commencement the work and the rate quoted is deemed to include for the same.(b) Comissioning of the DG will be done by OEM service and at the time of comissioning minimun 25 % fuel to be present in tank for testing purpose and cost of same to be included in the quoted unit rate. (c) Design and drawings of the foundation shall be prepared as recommended by the OEM and be got approved from GE before commencement the work and the rate quoted is deemed to include for the same.(d) Design and drawings to be submitted along with a copy to the Accepting Officer after obtaining the approval of GE.(e) PCC platform for DG set shall be provided and same shall be measured and paid under relevant BOQ item. |
