| 2 | OWS system - Inspection and OverhaulingIsolate OWS and ensure safe working conditions, Drain oil, water & sludge from OWS unit, Dismantle ows chamber,filters and internal components , Clean all chambers, filters elements and coalescer plates, Inspect parts for corrosion,cracks or damage parts, Renew damaged gaskets,seals and filter elements, Reassemble ows Unit as per manufacturere instructions. |
| 3 | OWS Mountings, pipelines & ValvesInspect ows mounting, foundation bolts and supports, Inspect inlet,outlet & disccharge pipe line, Overhauling associated valves and fittings, Renew defective components as required. |
| 4 | Pressure testingBlank off all system and connecteing pipe lines, Carry out hydrostatic pressure test of ows unit, Presuure test associated v pipeline and valves check leakage and pressure drop, and record pressure results |
| 5 | 15PPM Bilge Alarm/ Monitor calibrationInspect and clean 15 PPM bilge alarm and sensors, Calibrate using certified test fluids,Verify alarm activation at 15PPM, Check interlock with overboard discharge valve, Obtain calibration certification from class approved agency. |
| 6 | Testing, Trails, & ProvingRestore system and refill, Conduct operational trails with water, Simulate oily water condition, Verify correct alarm and shut off operation, Demonstrate satisfactory operation to class surveyor. |
| 7 | Safety & compliancecomply with MARPOL regulation . Follow lock out and tag out Procedures, Adhere to manufacturer and class requirements. OWS operation and certification to be obtained through IRS as per MARPOL regulations. |
