The decision of Engineer-in-Charge will be final. b) Cosmetic treatment like priming and painting at the end of each year upto 5 years. c) Replacement of damaged parts and rectification of any other defects observed as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge except the following: - i) The defects due to force majeure. ii) Serious loss or damage due to fire. iii) Any other incident which in the absolute discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge, is beyond the control of the contractor.5. The agency will place contact phone number on each equipment during the complete maintenance period.6. All the complaints must be attended/ resolved within a period of 5 Days otherwise a penalty of Rs. 500/- per complaint per Gym/children play equipment per day shall be imposed upto the resolution of the complaint.7. The regular maintenance is to be done with periodically checkup i.e. at least once in 15 days and an inspection report /record shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge in each 3 months by the agency.8. Payment terms during the maintenance period as specified in SOQ items:a) Release of Security Deposit: This amount will be released annually proportionately i.e. 20% of the Security Deposit shall be released after end of each year upto 5 years maintenance period of Gym and Children Park equipment.b) Final Bill Payment: Upon successful physical completion of the project, the final bill shall be paid after withholding the amount designated for maintenance as per the schedule Part-B outline in this Bill/Schedule of Quantities (BOQ/SOQ) [Item no. 87 and 88]. This withheld amount shall be released upon the successful completion of the maintenance period year wise as specified in Part-B of this schedule of quantities. |
