| 5 | Providing and fixing (at all levels) of hollow metal fire door (single leaf/double leaf) having 2 hr fire rating, successfully tested both sides in CBRI satisfying the three performance criteria of stability, integrity and insulation as per BS 476 part 22 and IS: 3614 Part II. Door frame shall be double rebate profile of size 143x57mm made out of 1.6mm (16guage) thick galvanized steel sheet. Frame shall be mitred and filed assembled with self-tabs. All provision shall be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving appropriate ANSI/UL labelled hardware. Rubber door silencers should be provided on the striking jamb. Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on the finished plaster masonry wall opening. Frame should be grouted with cement & sand slurry. Door panel shall be 60mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision-lite. Door panel shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18guage) thick galvanized steel sheet. In addition, the door should have continuous vertical steel stiffeners of 0.8mm sheet at an interval of 150mm spot-welded and smoothened. The gap should be filled with suitable infill material for required rating. All doors should be factory prepared for receiving appropriate hardware and provided necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers as per ASNI standard. The vision panel shall be of size 250x150 with 5mm thick ceramic fibre glass and suitable beading having 2-hour fire rating.Note: Hardware sets shall be paid separately under relevant BOQ items. |

The aluminium sections shall be provided with endcaps, joining pieces and other required fittings etc complete. The rate includes cost of all materials, labour, transportation, staging, T&P, machineries, consumables etc complete except the cost of supporting MS frame works if any required which shall be paid separately.Note: 1. The openable portion shall be provided with necessary heavy duty stainless steel stag and locking arrangements with necessary hinges. The aluminium louvers are to be provided wherever shown as per the drawings. All the works should be completed as a whole item of work for all heights including all lead, lift, scaffolding etc., complete. However, nothing extra shall be payable to the contractors for using larger/ heavier section than those given if found inadequate as per specifications and drawings.Note:1.
