M & L for 5 mm thick Epoxy Polyurethane (EPU) Flooring including removal of existing damaged EPU flooring complete all as per the details below:-Surface preparation :- Ensure and clean the floor surface and make it free from dirt, dust, loose particles, wax, polish, efflorescence, laitance, curing compund and other contaminants. Mechanical surface profiling to be provided by grit or shot blasting / grinding / Scarification, Creating network of grooves 2mm x 2mm size & 2 x 2 Sq M grids in the coating area along with peirphery, complete as per manufacturer's specification.Priming :- Providing and applying Apcoflor HFP 120/Apcoflor HFP 130 of Asian Paints or Nito Prime 25 of Fosroc or equivalent, Solvent free epoxy primer 200 gms / Sqm in two coats using a brush or short / medium pile roller at a time gap of 8 hrs by ensuring a unifrom coating is achieved and compensated the differences in surface porosity, allowing second coat to dry for 24 hrs, as per manufacturer's specification. All cracks and construction joints should be either filled with epoxy putty or mortor.Epoxy Screed :- Providing and installing, Apcoflor LSC3 XL of Asian Paints or Nitoflor EU5 of Fosroc or equivalent high performance, epoxy resin flooring screed by mixing all 3 components using heavy duty slow speed drilling machine fixed with mixing paddle, pouring of mixed material on the primed surface and spreading it using suitable trowel at 3 mm thickness at consumption of 3.5 - 3.9 Kg/Sqm. Gently rolling the surface of Apcoflor LSC3 XL of Asian paints or Nitoflor EU5 of Fosroc or equivalent using bubble roller for uniform spreading followed y spike roller to remove the entrapped air as per manufacturer's specification.

Top Coat:- Providing and installing, Apcoflor SL EPU of Asian paints or Nitoflor EPU 2000 of Fosroc or equivalent high performance, expoxy resin flooring system having excellent flexibility and tensile strength along with high chemical resistance by mixing all components including pigment, using heavy duty slow speed drilling machine fixed with mixing paddle, pouring of mixed material on the primed surface and spreading it using suitable trowel at 2 mm thickness at consumption of 1.78 kg/Sqm. Gently rolling the surface of Apcoflor SL EPU of Asian paints or Nitoflor EPU 2000 or equivalent using bubble roller for uniform sprading followed by spike roller to remove the entrapped air as per manufacturer's specification. > Compressive Strength - 41 + 5% MPa as per ASTM C 579> Flexural Strength - 10 + 5% MPa as per ASTM C 580> Tensile Strength - 9.5 + 5% MPa as per ASTM C 307

Note:-(i) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.(ii) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufactor only in presence of departmental rep.(iii) During removal of the existing damaged EPU flooring the sub base concrete floor shall not be damaged and if any damage accrued to the slab the same shall be repaired without any extra cost to the department.
