M&L for Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, and making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kgs per 10 Sqm and laying premixed bituminious macadam well rammed and sealed with paving bitumen 60/70 or VG-30 grade@ 9.8 Kgs per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping of size 6.3mm and again well rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller (Iincluding supply of pre-mixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing surfaces of existing black top surface or bituminous macadam surfaces with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clean the surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc on black top/concrete surfaces and applying evenly a tack coat with bitumenous primer using paving bitumen VG-30 at the rate of 05 kg / 10 sqm by mechanical sprayer and M&L for Bituminious premixed hot mix Asphaltic Semi- Dence Concrete using 5.5 % binder content (VG-30 Grade paving bitumen with minimum Marshal stability 1200 kg/sqcm) by weight of total mix and with thickness of 30 mm (consolidated Thickness) including rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and minimum 5Km/hour to uniform and smooth surface and consolidation to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Note1 : (a) Cement shall be used as filler at mininum 2% by weight of total mix in event of variation in design mix the percentage of filler content shall be on plus side adopted. (b)SDAC shall be as per MORTH specification Note2: - (i) Laying shall be done by means of self-propelled mechanical paver, and screed temp minimum maintain not less than 140 degree cellicious finishing with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls with suitable speed 5 Km /hour and capable of laying, spreading, tamping and finishing. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from computerized hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver only) (iii) The mix shall be designed by job mix formula and approved by GE. (iv) Cost of testing charges, materials and transportation etc for job mix formula and Independent testing during execution of work shall be inclusive in the unit rate quoted and no extra payment shall be made on this account. (v) Minimum bitumen content as mentioned in above item, if there is any variation in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted @ Rs. 50 /- per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than 5.5% as specified in BOQ. (vi) Prior to the execution of work started the Design mix of bituminous permix semi dense asphaltic concrete should be provide by the contractor from any Governement Engineering College or approved NABL lab and job mix should be approved by GE. (vii) Filler material for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be cement only.(viii) The cost of Job mix & Lab/Feild Testing asper SSR/IS/MORTH as required shall be borne by the contractor.(ix) The hot mix plant should be approved from GE.
