(b) Resurfacing of the substrate with SBR Latex polymer modified cement mortar (Cement: sand ratio : 1:3 with a Water (Mixed with SBR Latex) cement ratio of 0.4-0.45), with a minimum thickness of 20 mm, to get a levelled surface. The dosage of SBR Latex will be 4 kgs per bag of cement. The rate should be inclusive of bonding coat with cement and latex mix of ratio 1:1 over the cleaned surface before application of mortar and including providing grooves to form grid of plan area not more than 4 Sqm. (c) Providing and laying pressed clay tile (clay tile of 18mm thick ) including bed mortar, as per approved pattern on roofs jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finish neatly as required. (d) Raking out tile joints in cement mortar and preparing the surface and pointing with cement mortar of CM 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) admixed with 3 Kg of SBR latex per 50 kg of cement. |

The rate also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before applying coving. |

The tile shall be jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finished neat complete. (The cost for this item will be paid separately in this schedule). (b) Raking out joints in cement mortar and preparing the surface and pointing with cement mortar of CM 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) admixed with 3 Kg of SBR latex per 50 kg of cement. |

| 18 | Roof treatment-New work after completely removing the exsisting weathering course and laying heat reflective tile- : Providing and laying single or more component PU membrane (moist cured) over the existing terrace including providing Khura and Gola, laying the heat reflective tile over the membrane etc., complete. The work should be carried out involving the following items, sequences and specifications.a) Dismantling the existing weathering course (maximum depth of 30cm thick) completely to expose the roof slab and cleaning the surface thoroughly. The rate inclusive of dismantling, bringing down the dismantled materials to ground level using proper pulley arrangement / chute etc., complete. No additional charges will be paid for removal of the existing WPM layers like membrane, coatings etc., The dismantling works shall be taken up without damaging the existing roof slab and other installations at the terrace.b) Polymer modified mortar :- Resurfacing of the substrate with Sika Latex (or MIXBOND SBR of FABCHEM, Rheomix 141 of BASF or Nitobond SBR of FOSROC) polymer modified cement mortar (Cement: sand ratio : 1:3 with a Water (Mixed with Sika Latex) cement ratio of 0.4-0.45), with a minimum thickness of 20 mm, to get a levelled surface. The dosage of Sika Latex will be 4 kgs per bag of cement. The rate should be inclusive of bonding coat with cement and latex mix of ratio 1:1 over the cleaned surface before application of mortar. |
| 19 | e) Supply and applying PU moist cured coating- Supplying and laying single or more component PU system using spray / roller application only. PU coating shall be two component polyurethane fluid which cures with the humidity in the atmosphere. It produces a highly elastic membrane with strong adhesion to many types of surfaces. It is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin plus special inorganic fillers, which result in excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal and natural element resistance properties. Apply with airless spraying in two or more coat as per manufactures specification and consumption. The rate inclusive of necessary surface preparation to receive the waterproofing coating etc., complete.f)Ponding test by storing water for a minimum depth of 20 cm and the water to be retained for not less than 48 hours or as required by engineer in charge to ascertain any leakage. Necessary repair / grouting to be done free cost to arrest any leakage observed.g)Geotextile:- Supply and apply a polyester based geotextile protection fleece. Product: Sarnafelt® 300 or equivalent approved by IITM. Product requirements: density ≥ 300 g/m2; thickness 2.4 mm; tensile strength ≥ 430 N/50mm; elongation at break ≤ 100 %; tear strength ≥ 250 N; puncture resistance ≥ 1600 N; cone drop: 13 mm. |
| 20 | h)Supplying and applying foam concrete / polystyrene light weight concrete of not less than M 2.5 grade and density not more than 1250 kg /cum with a cement content not less than 250 kg per cum. The rate inclusive of laying the light weight concrete at terrace level including pumping, laying, levelling to get the required slope, curing etc., complete. The concrete shall be laid to maintain slope to drain the rain water over the geotextile (not less than 1 in 80). The minimum cement contnent shall not less than 250 Kg/cum. The mix design shall be approved by the engineer incharge. Minimum thickness of the concrete shall be 5cm. i)Supplying and laying Heat Reflective Terrace Tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x thickness as per manufactures specification / not less than 8mm) manufactured by ABC or equivalent with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection >0.70 and emittance >0.75 on 30 mm thick mortar as per manufacturer specification on sloped surface of terrace, laid on water resistant cement slurry prepared in the ratio of 1:3 ( 1 cement and 3 abc plus powder and add 3% Nano Acryl by volume) and grouting the joints (>3mm) with abc Grout and PPF (Poly Propylene Fiber) in the ratio of 2 to 3 gm PPF per kg of abc Grout including wetting (by using a piece of sponge) the grouted surface by abc Nano Clear in the ratio of 100 ml in two liter water. , including providing skirting upto 300 mm height along the parapet wall in the same manner. |
| 21 | Subhead C- PVC Membrane Providing and laying PVC membrane of thickness 1.5mm over the existing surface after thorough surface preparation and laying of geotextile. The scope of work includes the following sequence of operations. (a) Supplying and laying a polyester based geotextile protection fleece having the following properties. Density ≥ 300 g/m2; thickness 2.4 mm; tensile strength ≥ 430 N/50mm; elongation at break ≥ 100 %; tear strength ≥ 250 N; puncture resistance ≥ 1600 N; cone drop 13mm. (b) PVC membrane:-Supplying and fixing multi-layer, premium-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with an inlay of glass non-woven and a polyester fleece backing and has a lacquer coating applied to the top of the membrane to reduce staining from airborne dirt and pollutants. . Including complete installation using the loosely laid- mechanically fastened method as per manufacturer's method statement including overlapping, seam welding, detailing, fasteners, washers, welding chord etc. . The rate inclusive of terminating the vertical sides with suitable anchor fasteners, beadings and adhesive etc., to avoid pealing of the system and leakage. ( Product - with flowing specification of UV resistance Pass (>500 h/ grade 0) as per EN 1297,impact strength>450mm height (falling mass 0.5 kg) as per EN 12691; tensile strength>1000 N/50mm weather resistant ; elongation at break>10% as per EN m12311-2 SRI of 104 as per ASTME 1980-01) |
| 22 | (c) Termination of membrane with Termination & fixing with 4 nos SBF fastener (6.0x35 mm) per RM & sealing with polyurethane sealant as per manufacturers specification. The rate inclusive of labour, material, fixtures for termination, treatment to rainwater outlet etc. complete. |
| 23 | Providing and laying TPO membrane of thickness 1.5mm over the existing surface after thorough surface preparation and laying of geotextile. The scope of work includes the following sequence of operations. Polypropylene Alloy) reinforced membrane produced by extrusion of granules resulting from the incorporation of ethylene propylene rubber into a polypropylene matrix together with other additives as appropriate to the type of membrane. The membrane shall have two different colours for top & bottom , it is coloured grey on top and black on the underside for identify any damages that may occur during application. Membrane Laps are overlapped to achieve a minimum weld of 80mm. Rate inclusive of crack repairing, deboned plaster must be repaired completely etc.,. 1. Prepare a base surface stabilising primer - Penetrative acrylic polymer liquid modified with cement as a bonding cum sealer coating over the prepared sound surface. 2. Note: The membrane coatings one over the other must have adequate interval in application and shall extend up to 300 mm height towards the adjacent wall and the edges shall be terminated as per manufacture's direction. | 25 | Subhead E-PU grouting PU INJECTION GROUTING-PU resin based Foam forming injection grout-methodology and specification.1. Holes of 10mm dia shall be drilled on the leakage/damp spot in the Ceiling of the R.C slab using a portable Electric drill and a non-return ball-valve packer shall be fixed in the holes.2. Supplying and injecting PU based foam injection grout through the above fixed packers using a High-pressure one component Resin Injection pump until point of refusal. In case dripping of resin is observed through the packer hole, then the same shall be temporarily plugged with Instant plugging compound. The rate also inclusive of simultaneous injection of Acrylate Resin in the leak zone, this additional process would involve the fixing of an additional packer alongside the one fixed as above and the Acrylate resin shall be grouted with the same pump but after 24 hours of injecting . |

Supplying and fixing of cross linked, semi-rigid, closed cell polyethylene sheet material used for forming or filling expansion joints between adjacent in-situ or precast components of 20 mm thick for the expansion joint as per manufacturer specification. The cost includes all scaffolding at all levels The width of board is 100 mm. The old expansion board shall be removed up to depth of 100 mm.3. Supplying and filling the expansion joints up to 40 mm width and depth of 2.5 mm with PU sealant on top of back up material with primer.4. Supply and fixing of aluminum sheets Indalco make 150 mm wide and 6mm thick to the wall with 6mm dia anchor fastner bolt nut system at specified spacing. Actual length shall be measured for payment. |

The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE), tools and plants etc. but excluding the cost of waterproofing, attending to leakages and major civil repair works if any. The Paint manufacturer shall inspect the work in every stage, submit inspection / field test report, certify the product / application and give 15year Guarantee. |
