Actual one side area of wall dismantled shall be measured for payments. |
| 3 | Removing of existing calcium silicate partition by cutting in size/making opening as directed by by the Engineer In-charge up to 100mm thickness by removing both side boards, removing internal GI/aluminium frame work and stacking usable material with campus and disposal of non usable material to scrap yard/dumping yard with in IISER Pune campus or at location approved by Engineer In-charge within campus. Actual one side area of wall dismantled shall be measured for payments. |
| 4 | Providing, supplying and fixing premium quality decorative wall paper of approved make, design, colour, shade and texture on prepared wall surfaces, complete as per approved sample and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall include cleaning the existing wall surface, removal of loose paint, dust, grease, levelling by putty, crack filling and other foreign materials, light scraping wherever required, and preparing the surface by making it smooth, even and suitable for proper adhesion of wallpaper. One coat of primer shall be applied before application of wall paper. The work shall also include minor surface corrections, filling of small undulations, sanding and proper surface preparation required for wallpaper application. The wallpaper shall be applied using recommended adhesive as per manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring proper alignment, matching of patterns, and fixing the wallpaper truly in line, level and without wrinkles, air bubbles, overlaps or visible joints. The contractor shall bring sufficient wallpaper catalogues/samples for selection and approval by the Engineer-in-Charge prior to commencement of the work. The wallpaper shall be cut, positioned and fixed carefully to achieve uniform appearance and proper pattern continuity. The work shall include all labour, materials, adhesives, tools, scaffolding, transportation, wastage, finishing, trimming at edges, corners, openings, wastage and making good after completion, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
