| 2 | Removal of Old Rubber Lining of Phosphoric Acid Strong Storage Tank C in PA Plant:Old rubber lining shall be removed from complete side wall / shell areas and bottom area, roof area, base plates, flanges, dummies and top covers of inside of the phosphoric acid strong storage tank C. Removal of silica/deposited matter on shell and side walls is also under the scope of this contract. Preparation of entire surface shall be done by chipping, through cleaning by using wire brush, grinding and buffing. Approx diameter of tank is 11 m and height 10 m, aprroximate area of rubber lining to be removed is 540 Sq. m.Removed rubber lining shall be collected and transported to designated area as instructed by site in charge. |
| 3 | Providing and Fixing Scaffolding system inside Strong Storage Tank C in PA Plant:Providing and fixing scaffolding system for all type of works using 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical joining with cup & lock/tube & clamp system including necessary workingplatform etc., and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for required duration till sucessful completion of the work mentioned in sl.no.1 of the schedule and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge / Safety Department. (The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding). |
