| 15 | Filling of cracks in internal/external walls with Acrylic based sealing paste (Sika cracksil Acrylic paste/ Dr. fixit crack-X paste or equivalent). Prepare the surface by cleaning the surface to remove any dirt or loose particles and widen the cracks 4 to 6 mm wide and 6 mm deep and then fill the groove with paste after applying a priming coat prepared using the paste as per manufacturer's specifications. All operations to be carried out as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Then apply Fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane (Asian Paints SmartCare Damp Proof or equivalent) on vertical wall surface (1st coat applied @ 4.31 litre/10 sqm and 2nd coat applied @ 3.26 litre/10 sqm). Dilution ratio should be as per manufacturer's specifications. Operation shall be carried out after cleaning the surface from loose dirt, dust particles, oil, etc. by wire brushing and then washing and rinsing the surface with clean water.
