Earth work in rough (borrow area) excavation for embankment in hard soil, Morrum or highly weathered strata dry or moist, including laying in 20 cm layers (before compaction) and breaking of clods, sorting of grass, pebbles etc. and dressing when compacted by vibro compactor, vibro sheep foot roller, sheep foot roller/pneumatic tyred roller to obtain dry density of at least 98% of Standard Proctor's density with initial lift of 1.5m (excluding charges for compaction and watering), including loading and un-loading wherever required complete in all respect- (e) With lead beyond 1750 m and up to2250 m ( average lead2 Km)

Deduct in item no 16 (b) if Standard Proctor's density to be achived is at least 90%

Compaction of earth or highly weathered strata by mannual or plain roller. (density 90% of Proctor)

Watering of earth including cost of carriage of water when source of water is 1 Km

37 mm thick shotcrete by wet mix process, applied with compressed air gun after chipping of defective concrete / masonry, racking the joints, cleaning of surface thoroughly with wet sand blasting after fixing of 9 gauge good quality rust free welded mesh of size 50 mm x 50 mm in TWO layers with anchors / clamps. After racking the joints clean the surface thoroughy by wet sand blasting, anchor the first layer of welded mesh in position and apply 15 mm cement concrete (1:2:1) by pressure gun and after hardening of first layer, anchor second layer of welded wire mesh, apply 22 mm thick cement concrete complete in all respect upto 5 mt height from ground level. Cement concrete comprising of cement, sand, coarse aggregate, water and quick setting compound in the proportion 1:2:1, sand and coarse aggregate conforming to IS 383 and table no. 1 of IS:9012 respectively.

Preparation and dressing the sub grade including removal of irregularities up to 7.5 cm in soil, morrum mixed with pebbles, small boulders and highly weathered rock for side slopes
