B.C. above given is tentative, contractor will have to test the B.C. and design of O.H.T. will be on actual B.C. found. All other details of tank not covered here shall also be as per specifications enclosed. The specifications for O.H.T. will be as follows :- |
| 7 | The successful bidder will be required to investigate the soil bearing capacity. If net safe allowable bearing capacity is found to be equivalent or more than 8 t/m2, the design of OHT will be based on 8 t/m2 capacity. However, in case the net safe allowable bearing capacity is found to be below 8 t/m2, then the design of OHT will be based on the actual bearing capacity. The contractor has to accommodate for the additional cost required, in the eventuality of net safe allowable bearing capacity falling below 8 t/m2. |
