| 2 | Inspection and Overhauling of Life boat engines & Gear boxsDrain engine oil, gear box oil and coolant, Dismantle engine and gear box completely, Inspect cylinder head, liners, crank shaft, bearings & valves, Inspect fuel system, injectorss, filiters,& pipelines, Inspect gear boxgears, bearings, seals and couplings, Renew of gaskets,seals, bearing and defective parts, Reassemble engine parts and gear box as per manufacturer instructions,Refill oils and coolent with approved grades, Carry out alignment check and trail run. |
| 3 | Overhauling of Lifeboat Hydraulic steering & RudderDrain hydraulic oil from steering system, Dismantle Steering units and rudder mechanisms, Inspect hydraulic pumps, cylinders,hoses and seals, Inspect rudder stock,bearings and linkage system, Renew damagedseals,refill hydraulic oil and bleed air, test steering and rudder movments for smooth operation. |
