Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing making Gabion structure for erosion control, and protection works with polymer wire crates of sizes each divided into 1.00 mtr compartments by cross netting with mesh opening size 150mm x 150mm made from 9mm polymer rope (PP) Grade-I having weight of 40grm/m with a tolerance of + or -8%.1560kg breaking strength (min) and after 1000 cycles of abrasion, the rope shall be subjected to tensile test as per IS:7071 (Part-IV)-1986, which shall be more than 85% of the original breaking strength of the rope, the crates shall be filled with boulders with least dimension of 200mm, all loose ends to be securely tied with 9mm polymer wire as per the specification of standard specification of gabions and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
