Excavation in foundations,trenches etc., in earth work, lift upto 1.50 mts. Stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mts. Clear from the edge of the excavation & then returning the stacked soil in 15 cms. Layers,when required into plinths sides of foundation etc.,consolidating each deposited layers by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed within all leads & lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.

Dismantling in trenches galvanised mild steel tube, tube fitting (light grade)(earth work in trenches to be measured and paid for separately ) including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge of the following nominal bores.

Re-laying,jointing and testing of galvanised mild steel with intermediate circumfesential butt welded joints of below mentioned dia and class i/c.cost of flange,bends,tees etc. The fixing of M.S.Flanges as per IS-814:1967 should be done on both faces to make the joint leak proof and capable withstand the required Hydraulic pressure. The flanges should conform 6392-1971 with specified number and size of M.S.nuts and bolts as per Table mentioned below and ISI-MarkedSBR rubber flange gasket not less than 3mm.thick(Excavation in trenches etc.to be measured and paid for for separately).

Providing and fixing M.S. flanges Table-5 confirming to BIS-6392-1971 latest with up to date amendsments including nuts and bolts and 3mm thick rubber gasket. Flanges to be welded with double layer on outer side and single layer on inner side as per BIS:816-1965 latest with up to date ammendsments including all leads and lifts of materials as per the direction of Engineer -in- charge.
