| 2 | Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting work in soft / hard rock, chiselling in soft / hard including wedging out of a rock where blasting is prohibited including dewatering in saturated soil and stacking the excavated earth/metarials upto all leads and lifts up to all lifts, not exceeding more than 3.0mtr. clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 centimeters layers when required in to plinths, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as per direction and to the entire satisfation of Engineer- in- charge up to leads and lifts. |

| 19 | Providing and fixing steel gate with side grating in wall within all leads and lifts.i) Single faced Sluice gate confirming to IS 3042;1965 latest with upto date ammendments for a maximum seating unbalanced head of 15 mts water with a suquare size of 1.00x1.00 with wall mounted frame to control the water flow in the treanch manually operated by the hand wheel with gearing system with in static limits of 1.00 mts duly febricated with cast iron frame and door shall be a quality not less than grade 20 of IS 210-1962 with upto date ammendments.ii) Frame : The frame shall be robust spingot of an appropriate length cast integral at the back for case of support in the water way and provide an effective seal and the back of the frame shall be flat . A cast Iron side guide strip having a machined taper face on the under side shall be fixed to the frame on each side by MS Studs and extending over the height of water way to provide effective guide through out the travel of the door.iii) Door : the door shall be reinforced ribs cast integral at the back for strength on each side there shall be tapered sungs or gun metal or bronze tape strips not less than three, machined to match similar taped faced side guide strips on the frame.iv) Face : facing shall be so screwed to brass rivets in the machined gooves of the frame and dooor and machined and hand finished that door fully shut a satisfactory water tight seal.v) Guide : Guide shall be adequated screwed to the main frame by stud bolt and provision shall be made of appropriate movement to adjust the degree of wedging consists with sealing properly. vi) Spindle : The dia of rising spindle shall not be less than 62 mm and shall be terminate at top of sluice door and operated through out either frame or floor mounted head stock. |

| 21 | Providing, laying, fixing, jointing and testing (by way of circumfrential butt welded joints in three layers by electrical arc welding 95% and 5% MS flanges) in trenches of MSERW pipe(Zinc coated) of following dia meters conforming to ISO 3183-2007, pipe grade L290 or X-42 and L360 or X-52(latest with upto date amendments) having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube. The laying of pipe will include all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fabrication of bends, tees etc including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS:4736-1986 with upto date amendments. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani/Oerlikon/L&T or ISI marked make. The tolerance in thickness mass/weight of pipe will be accepted as per relevant BIS code. The rates also include entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P test of butt welded joints complete to the best satisfaction & directin of Engineer-in-charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for seperately) |
