| 1 | Earthwork in excavation for dredging or desilting in sea water (Saline water at depth of 2 to 4m) connected to the mouth of sea with spud pontoon or grab dredger having a shallow draft of 0.5m. Tata TFC 280 crane mounted on a pontoon of size 20m x 10m x 2m with 4 point mooring system and drat of 0.50m. The crane is attached with grab to excavate sand, silt or mud with a cubic capacity of 3.0 cubic. Mounting of exactor on spud pontoon with a bucket of 4.5 cubic capacity. The pontoon has 3 point spud system which can be lowered or increased for stability depending upon the draft of water. Excavation and loading of sand silt into hopper barge of cubic capacity of 350 cum. Employment of 2 no hopper barges of 350 cubic capacity each. Dumping the loaded material at 12 nautical miles (22.22 km) into the sea at designated MPT ground with the help of towing tug having draft less than 1 m. Above activity also includes mobilization and demobilization of machinery to the site through waterway and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc. complete. |
| 2 | Earthwork in excavation for breaking rock submerged at a depth of 2m in sea water condition (saline water). With the help of excavator mounted on floating pontoon of size 20m x 10m x 2m with 3 point spud system. Spuds can be lowered or raised depending on the draft available at sight. Attaching rock breaking unit to excavator with an air compressor unit to avoid ingestion of saline water system. Crane mounted on pontoon of size 20m x 10mx 2m with rock braking chisel unit attached to the crane. Chisel specification will be determined by the rock strata encountered. After breaking attaching grab of 3 cubic meter capacity to lift and load rocks in hopper barge of capacity 350cum and dumping in sea at a distance of 12 nautical miles (22.22Km) into the sea at designated MPT ground with the help of towing tug having draft less than 1m and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc. complete. |
| 3 | Supplying jamba wooden bally piles 150 mm mean diameter cut to length required (not exceeding 9 meters) and planted in position ready for driving:Upto 2.5 meters long pile. |
| 4 | Heading and pointing whole bally piles 150mm diameter including only rings, providing and fixing pile shoes, cuttting of heads after driving and taking out rings removing cut off portions to departmental store as specified. |
| 5 | Driving down wooden piles of 150mm diameter either in vertical or battered work to approved lines and level through various strata including arranging all the appliances necessary for pile driving complete at site ( portion in ground only to be measured). Upto 2.5 meters long pile. |
| 6 | Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete. |
| 7 | Centering and shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of formwork for:Foundations, footing, bases for columns and mass concrete. |
| 8 | Vertical surfaces such as retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thk) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, etc. |
| 9 | Providing & laying cement concrete 1: 1.5: 3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand: 3 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm. nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in:All works upto plinth level. |
| 10 | In retaining wallls, return walls (any thk) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc, upto floor five level. |
| 11 | Providing and fixing weepholes with rigid PVC make laid in position with a required slope and level while laying pipes of approved the concrete of retaining wall, wing wall and earth retaining structure complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. 110mm dia |
| 12 | Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in charge. |
| 13 | Providing and laying in position pre-casted antisea erosion units in tidal conditions called Tetrapods as per the approved dimensions and drawing each of weight - 1000Kgs of designed mix M-30 Grade of concrete to be laid in double layers at the site of work as per the drawing \\"good for construction\\" including cost of centering, shuttering without any steel reinforcement in required line, level slope and section in variable tidal conditions etc. complete including transportation, lifting, conveying and laying the blocks by means of crane of appropriate lifting capacity or any other convenient methods without damaging the blocks slowly in predecided position etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
