Part-I : Refurbishment of Pinion Assembly:The Scope includes rebuilding of worn or damaged pinion surfaces by metal deposition through welding build-up, followed by precision finish machining to achieve the specified tolerance and surface finish as per its original dimensions.

Part-II : Gear Teeth Reconditioning: The damaged and worn gear teeth will be reconditioned by tooth profile restoration using hard-facing electrodes. Subsequent reshaping shall be carried out through hobbing or gear cutting as required to ensure correct involute profile, pitch accuracy and backlash. This will ensure proper gear meshing and uniform load distribution during operation

Part-III : Bore Keyway and Alignment Restoration: The inner bore and keyway area of the pinion will be re-machined and restored to original design dimensions using line boring, keyway broaching and honing. Proper fitment, concentricity and alignment with matching components
