| 3 | Manufacturing, Supply, installation as per the technical demand and site condition trial running and commissioning of one number of fully automatic Dual Media Pressure Filter (DMF) of capacity 25000 Liters/Hour. Pressure Filter Vessel shall be vertical cylindrical with Diameter 1200mm and Height on straight 1800mm (HOS) and shell thickness 3 mm and Dish end thickness 4 mm adequate to withstand possible maximum internal pressure. The Pressure vessel should have a manhole having diameter not less than 500 mm with cover at top for easy inspection of the unit and a manhole at bottom side having diameter not less than 350 mm with dummy plates for media removal. The MOC of pressure vessel, frontal piping, internal distribution and collection system, air release piping, nut and bolts, etc. should be SS-304. The frontal piping shall be with 3\\" dia SS-304 Sch-10 pipes. The frontal piping should be incorporated with best quality 3\\" (80 mm) pneumatic activated Butterfly Valves with SS-304-disc, soft seat type for filter unit functioning including rinsing and back washing, SS-304 Glycerin filled Pressure gauge (4\\" dial size, 0-7 bar) and two numbers of sampling points with stainless steel taps at inlet and outlet. Provision for air scouring with required valves, NRV, etc. shall also be provided with the filter unit. The filter media shall be comprising of Anthracite (brand: Everzit-N/Aquacite), graded Coarse and Fine Sand (depth of filter media shall be not less than 850mm and have good performance life for a minimum period of 2 years. The supporting under bed materials shall be graded pebbles and crushed gravel etc. with a minimum depth of 500 mm. Operation of the unit shall be with PLC with feed back unit. The scope of work includes all related mechanical and plumbing works and interconnection of the system at inlet with filter feed pump and outlet with the Iron removal Plant. All the interconnection piping shall be SS-304. |

Approx. 350 lts of DMI-65 media can be utilized from the existing IRF, balance quantity need to be supplied by the contractor to achieve the desired depth of iron media) and have good performance life for a minimum period of 2 years. The scope of work includes all related mechanical and plumbing works and interconnection of the system at inlet with DMF and outlet with the ACF. All the interconnection piping shall be SS-304. The existing 36\\" dia FRP Iron removal filter vessel without DMI-65 media shall be taken back by the contractor at his own cost. While quoting the rate for the new IRF due consideration shall be given to the taken back item. |
