| 2 | Cleaning the downstream face of the dam and its appurtenances by removing dirt,dust, bird excretion, grease, oil, algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growth etc.including washing the surface with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet without causing any damage to the surface and finally washing the surface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine, complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguard structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labours , scafoldings, winch and craddle platform etc complete and provision for ESMP compliance ) |
| 3 | Filling cavities/Honey combs on the downstream face of the dam with cement mortar 1:3 using bonding agent Nitobond SBR/equivalent materials, filling of voids and small openings with high strength nonshrink UV resistant,abrasion and chemical resistant impermeable cementitious mortar having minimum adhesive bond strength of 2 Mpa and confirming to EN 1504(Class R4) standards and then resurfacing with the same material for a thickness of 12mm including patch work,scaffolding, cost and conveyance of all materials and all labour charge for watering curing etc and disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 meters lead etc complete as per the direction of Engineer in Charge.(The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labours , scafoldings, winch and craddle platform etc complete and provision for ESMP compliance ) |
| 4 | Removing fungi, dust, dirt, rust etc from all surface by manualy/mechanicaly using water, scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer- in -charge.(The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labours , scafoldings, etc complete and provision for ESMP compliance ) |
| 5 | Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface: |
| 6 | Finishing surfaces with exterior emulsion in the Laxury segment including Polyurethane (PU) and Silicone technology for heavy rainfall area- paint of approved shade (Two or more coat applied @1.67ltr/10sqm) on existing cement paint surface .The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labours , scafoldings, and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc complete. |
| 7 | Supplying and fixing new Flat type bottom rubber seal(100x20mm thick) of good quality (Confirming to IS 11855) including making holes in the seals , providing new stainless steel bolts nuts & bolts of suitable size, MS flats etc after cutting and removing the existing bottom rubber seals for the outlets gates etc complete as per the direction of the departmental officers.The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials,hire charges of tools, labour charges, bolt hole drilling charges,cost of scafoldings, and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc complete. |
| 8 | Supplying and fixing new Z type side rubber seal (80x30x15mm thick) of good quality (confirming to IS 11855) including making holes in the seals , providing new stainless steel bolts nuts & bolts of suitable size, MS flats etc after cutting and removing the existing bottom rubber seals for the outlets gates.The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials,hire charges of tools, labour charges, bolt hole drilling charges,cost of scafoldings,and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc complete as per the direction of the departmental officers. |
| 9 | Supplying Steel wire rope 28mm dia 6x36 (14-7+7-7-1) Construction, Right hand Ordinary lay, Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS ) grade, Galvanised wire confirming to IS 1835-1976, Steel Core, Pre stretched, tensile strength 1960 N/sqmm, mass 3.12kg/meter , minimum breaking load 547 kN ,confirming to IS2266-2024, 32 reels of 22m each( socketing on each end of the reel and other end free, Total - 32 Sockets) with manufacturer's test certificate including cost of transportation, socketing suitable to the existing gate and testing the socket, cost of wire rope of approved make and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc. complete as directed by the departmental officers at site. |
| 10 | Fixing wire rope already supplied to the gates and Hoisting unit by applying Cardium compound of sufficient thickness ,safely and conducting Tial Run including cost of all other materials,scafoldings, fixing accessories, labour charges, removing and rolling the old wire rope and returning to the Section Store as directed by the Engineer in charge etc. complete |
| 11 | Painting radial gates with Epoxy coaltar paint two or more coats over two coats of zinc rich primer after rubbing and cleaning the surface out of rust by wire brush, sand paper etc. Including the cost of epoxy paint, primer, cleaning materials, scaffolding charges, transportation and labour charges and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc. complete as per IS 14177:1994(R2004) for gates and appurtenances and as per the direction of the departmental officers . |
| 12 | Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete on steel work. |
| 13 | Finishing with Deluxe Multi surface paint system for interiors and exteriors after applying priming coat as per manufacturers specifications: Painting wood work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint of required shade. Two or more coat applied @ 0.90 ltr/10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.75 ltr/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials,hire charges of tools, labour charges, cost of scafoldings, and cost for undertaking the ESMP requirements etc complete |
| 14 | Applying priming coat: With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron /steel works |
