| 19 | Supplying and laying 80 mm thick factory-made grass pavers of M30 grade concrete, of approved size, shape, and color, free from cracks or defects, and conforming to relevant standards. The foundation soil shall be cleared, leveled, and compacted to the required lines, levels, and slopes. Over this, a well-compacted granular sub-base shall be provided, followed by a 50–75 mm thick sand bed leveling course, properly leveled and dressed. The grass pavers shall then be laid in the specified pattern and alignment as per approved drawings, each unit being tapped into position using a rubber mallet to ensure correct levels and interlock. After laying, the open cells of the pavers shall be filled with fertile soil mixed with manure, lightly compacted, and planted with approved grass variety. Adequate watering, maintenance, and trimming shall be carried out until the turf is well established. The finished surface shall be even, firm, and in conformity with the required gradient, with neatly finished edges and free from depressions or uneven joints. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of all materials, labor, equipment, loading, unloading, transportation, laying, compaction, watering, and maintenance of grass until establishment, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by SIPCOT Officers. |
