C, mixed thoroughly using a slow-speed drill with paddle for a period of 3 to 4 minutes before pouring into the cracks. The filled cracks shall be allowed to cure properly( 24 to 48 hours), complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 5 | OD311316/2025-2026 All corner joints between the roof slab and parapet wall shall be thoroughly cleaned. Any undulations noticed shall be levelled by manual grinding. Two-component cementitious waterproofing coating shall be applied over all treated corner areas, to act as an adhesive layer. Joint sealing tape of three-ply construction, 75 mm width, shall be fixed and pressed onto the freshly applied adhesive layer, ensuring a minimum overlap of 50 mm. A smoothing trowel shall be used to remove wrinkles and level any unevenness or distortions. Two to three coats of the two-component cementitious coating shall then be applied, ensuring that the joint sealing tape is fully embedded and completely covered, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |

The primer shall be diluted with clean water in the appropriate proportion and stirred thoroughly to obtain a uniform consistency. One coat of the diluted primer shall be applied over the cleaned substrate and allowed to dry before commencing the subsequent waterproofing system, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. |

The coating shall be applied in two coats to achieve a total thickness of 1.0 mm. The second coat shall be applied after the first coat has reached touch-dry condition, including all materials, labour, tools, scaffolding and incidentals, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

Cementitious pressure grouting shall be executed in all corner areas and on bathroom walls up to a height of 1.0 m using approved plasticised expanding grout admixture mixed with cement and water, to fill all gaps and voids beneath existing tiles. All drilled holes shall be sealed with approved three-component epoxy tile joint filler. Outlet traps shall be removed, the surrounding areas shall be waterproofed using approved polymer-based waterproofing coating, and the traps shall be refixed after completion. Existing tile joints shall be widened by cutting up to a depth of 3 mm and filled with approved three-component epoxy tile joint filler.complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge |
