Cutting in earth work in all depths and heights in hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited), or setting out to the required lines grades, side slopes, trimming of bottom and levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at site according to the HPPWD specification of 1990 volume-1 and sorting of useful and unuseful materials and stacking the useful material along road side which shall not be less than 95.88/- cubic meter failing which recovery @ Rs. 300/- per cubic meter shall be effected and transportation of the un useful material for filling in roadway embankments for grade improvement and level to required grades and then disposing off all surplus excavated material in acquired width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transportations including head load, animal loads or mechanical means along with its leveling and fine dressing and carriage of all labour machinery, materials, tools, equipments and safety measured and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and or labor (if any required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge). Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and transportation of useful and un useful materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him to full extent complete in all respects and in all cases.

Earth work in excavation in foundation structures as per drawing and technical specifications clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto any lead, dressing of sides and bottoms and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentals.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (One cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggregate 25mm (Twenty Five millimeter) nominal size) and curing complete including cost of form work in retaining walls/breast walls, as per drawing and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 as per HPPWD specification within all leads and lifts and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
