| 1 | Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 350 TR Horizontal Twin Screw Type Water-Cooled Chiller: Factory-assembled water-cooled chiller unit consisting of a semi-hermetic twin screw compressor directly coupled to an energy-efficient minimum IE4 motor, VFD-driven with Active Harmonics Filter, suitable for 3-phase, 50 Hz power supply. The chiller shall be complete with a shell and tube flooded/falling film evaporator and a water-cooled shell and tube condenser. Chiller evaporator and condenser shall have even pass connections to suit the existing plant room layout. Refrigerant used shall be R-513A/R-134a, factory charged with refrigerant and oil. The unit shall be mounted on a rigid, fabricated steel frame with anti-vibration isolators and an inertia base suitable for indoor installation. The chiller shall have a maximum sound level of 85 dB(A) measured at a distance of 1 meter from the unit under all operating conditions. Chiller evaporator and Condenser shall be ASME certified and U-stamped. The chiller shall be complete with flow switches, temperature sensors, internal refrigerant piping, power and control wiring, and 38 mm thick nitrile rubber insulation. The control system shall be microprocessor-based with LCD/Touchscreen HMI, supporting full automation, real-time monitoring, diagnostics, alarm history and data logging. The chiller shall support native BACnet/IP communication protocol for seamless integration with the Building Management System. The unit shall include all required safety protections such as high and low pressure cut-outs, anti-freeze protection, oil pressure monitoring, motor current protection, overload protection, single-phase preventer, phase reversal protection, earth fault trip and VFD protections.Design conditions shall be: Chilled Water Inlet 55°F, Chilled Water Outlet 45°F, and Condenser Water Inlet 90°F and Condenser Water Outlet 100°F. Performance requirements shall be 350 TR capacity with a chilled water flow rate of 840 GPM and a condenser water flow rate of 1050 GPM. At AHRI 550/590 standard rating conditions, the chiller shall have a COP ≥ 6.2 (≤ 0.567 kW/TR) and an IPLV ≥ 8.1 (≤ 0.434 kW/TR). The ISEER shall be ≥ 7.9, meeting BEE 4 Star rating or above. At the specified project design conditions, the chiller shall have a COP ≥ 5.2 (≤ 0.676 kW/TR) and an NPLV ≥ 5.8 (≤ 0.606 kW/TR). Fouling factors shall be 0.0005 ft²·°F·hr/Btu for the evaporator and 0.001 ft²·°F·hr/Btu for the condenser. The chiller shall be AHRI Certified in accordance with AHRI Standard 550/590 (I-P).All civil works related to RCC foundation, Vibration Isolators, grouting and alignment of the chiller shall be under the contractor’s scope. All electrical works, including supply and installation of cable from the nearest panel to the chiller VFD, termination, earthing and necessary adapters for Cu/Al cables, shall be under the contractor’s scope. The installation shall comply with Kerala Electrical Inspectorate rules and applicable statutory regulations. |
