| 1 | Construction of light gauge steel framing prefabricated structure including architectural, structural design and erection and handover basis as per scope of work complete in all respect as per drawing approved by Engineer-in- charge. Structrual Frame :- Providing and fixing of Light Steel Structure made of high galvanized steel of minimum thickness 0.75 mm as per final requirements duly supplied with punching dimples for screws and provision of electrical and plumbing conduits etc in standard C- section cold rolled steel in minimum size of 89x39x11mm (web x flange x lip) for wall studs, bracings, floor joists, runners, roof truss and purlins with minimum 275 gsm coating of zinc for anti-rusting and 550 MPa of yield strength i/c provisions for lip notches, lip cuts, web notches through highly précised machines. Provision for service web holes of 34mm dia along the walls. The Steel pertains the assembly for load bearing walls with SDST galvanized wafer head screw of dimensions having head dia of 11mm and assembly for load bearing Joists, trusseswithhexagonal head screws with heavy shear strength. The screws contains heavy shear strength to withstand heavy loads, also provision of 1mm tolerance betweenvertical studs and top bottom plates to withstand earthquake situations. The provision oferection with Hold down bolts (Dash fasteners) minimum of 120 mm length with subsequent dia., fixed at each 600 mm distance along the wall length with nut and bolt system (Hilti, Power fastener). The purlin provided for roof sheets spacing at around 1 meter fixed with hex head screws and L clits. The structure will contain trusses of subsequent length with a maximum spacing of 1220mm with load bearing walls with provision for doors and windows. The cross members provided for strength called bracings along with strap bracings. Proper hold down ties (simpson or equivalent) must be installed at all corners and required necessary areas. Roll over rods should be installed from frames to foundations. ROOFING: Supply and installation of pre-coated profile sheets for roofing (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer in Charge) of 0.50mm total coated thickness (TCT) with galvanized coating as per IS: 277 in 240 MPa steel grades, top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches while transportation and should be supplied in single length up to 12 meters or as desired by Engineer in charge. The sheet shall be provided an underneath fibrous insulation slabs/rolls of non-combustible Glass wool/Polynum placed over a metal mesh bed created between the Purlins and then the sheet shall be fixed using self-drilling/self-tapping screws of size (5.5 x 55mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. Limpet washers filled with white lead complete up to any pitch in horizontal /vertical or curved surfaces including plain ridges of 0.5mm TCT and excluding the cost of Purlins, rafters, trusses and including cutting to size and shape Providing and fixing of eaves gutter and downpipes. Gutter & downpipes sizes should be as per the design and as approval of the engineer-in charge. Gutters shall be made in GI sheets of thickness 0.6 mm, properly sealed for water leakages etc. Downpipes made of PVC of appropriate dia should be provided at all strategic location. WALLS:- Supply and fixing of internal & external wall sheathing with double layer of boards. The outer layer is fixed with Puff Panneling conforming to IS: 14862, density 1200 kg/m3, MMOR (at EMC) 14 Mpa, thermal conductivity 0.14 W/mK, impact strength: 5.8 Kj/m3 and fire resistance indices conforming to BS 476 Part 6. The inner layer is fixed with 12.5mm thick tapered edge gypsum board conforming to IS: 2095- Part I. 8. Supply and fixing of 75 mm rock wool insulation inside the wall frame cavity for thermal and acoustic insulation, conforming to IS: 8193, density 48 kg/m3 Flooring:- Tiles :-Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622 of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar l:4 (1cement :4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. complete. Size (600x60Omm) Floor area= (8mx6.5m)= 52 Sqm. PAINTING:-Providing and applying of jointing compounds to make proper grooves in external cladding. Internal cladding should be finished with proper jointing compound to make a smooth finish of the wall. Finishing walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004,Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint (weather coat/Apex/weather shield) of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives. Two or more coats over one coat of primer. Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade. Two or more coats over one coat of primer. DOORS, WINDOWS and VENTILATORS:-Provding and fixing of door frames made of powder coated aluminium sections with four numbers ISI quality powder coated hinges duly welded on one side of frame as a complete item of work. The 35 mm thick flush door shutter (ISI quality) shall be fitted with complete set of fittings such as one number aldrop, two number handles, latches, door stopper etc, all complete including finishing smooth with base coat of primer and two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint, all complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. Door Shutters shall be as per below mentioned quality. Providing and fixing ISI marked 35mm thick flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters. These doors shall be provided in all rooms. Providing & Fixing 1mm thick decorative high pressure laminated sheet of plain / wood grain in gloss / matt / suede finish with high density protective surface layer and reverse side of adhesive bonding quality conforming to IS : 2046 Type S, including cost of adhesive of approved quality.Providing and fixing of windows made of Windows built up of aluminum sections fixed sliding aluminum panel in appropriate size along with necessary hinges and other fittingsall complete. Windows shall have provision of wire gauge shutters as well as 5.5 mm thick float glass pane shutters. Windows shall be provided withrequired number of fittings such as handles, tower bolts, hinges etc. all complete as per direction of engineer-in-charge. Thewire gauge shall be made of using stainless steel grade 304 wire of dia 0.5 mm and average width of aperture 1.4 mm in both directions with necessary screws. These windows shall be provided in all rooms, as per drawing. CEILING:- Providing and Fixing 15 mm thick densified tegular edged eco friendly light weight calcium silicate false ceiling tiles of approved texture fixed in to T – Grid frame work with main runners and cross runners fixed to main runners placed 600 mm centre to centre both ways so as to form a grid of 600 mm square. Main ‘T’ runners to be suspended from ceiling using G.I. slotted cleats of size 25x35x1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long dash fasteners, 4 mm G.I. adjustable rods with galvanised steel level clips of size 85 x 30 x 0.8 mm, spaced at 1200 mm centre to centre along main‘T’,bottom exposed with 24 mm of all T sections shall be pre-painted with polyster baked paint, for all heights, as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
