Upgradation,Providing, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of Moveable Platform for cleaning trash rack at Head works of New Partap Canal. The work involves providing & fabrication of a heavy-duty movable platform (18ft x 3ft x 4ft) for mechanical cleaning of trash rack which is to be operated with two chain pulley block machines of 2-ton capacity each for lifting & lowering operation. The platform shall be fabricated using suitable MS flats (50mm by 8mm), MS angles(50mmX50mmX6mm), and MS plates where required forming a rigid framed structure with adequate strength and stiffness to withstand lifting load, hydraulic pressure and impact of floating debris accumulated at the trash rack. The platform shall be provided with heavy-duty MS hook arrangement at the top for lifting, enabling easy attachment and detachment from the wire ropes of the two winch machines. The hooks shall be fabricated from thick MS plates/round bars of adequate section and shall be reinforced with gusset plates to safely carry the working load feasible as per site conditions and to bear the river level water pressure during the flood situation. The lifting arrangement shall ensure balanced and synchronized operation of both winches during vertical movement of the bucket for safe and efficient removal of debris. The complete assembly shall be cleaned, sandblasted, and coated with two coats of red oxide primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint for corrosion protection. The specifications of MS members can adjusted as per site conditions. The job includes cost of material, consumables, handling, loading, unloading, transportation charges, skilled/semi-skilled labour charges, welding charges, fitting, testing, commissioning, hiring charges for crane, tripod stand, tools & tackles and any incidental charges required for successful completion of the work at site Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
