Restoration and strengthening of damaged trash rack at Head work of New Partap Canal. The work involves restoration of the trash rack by rebuilding and strengthening the existing damaged lower part of trash rack (7ft X 20ft). The scope includes dismantling and removal of damaged, corroded, weakened and bent steel members. The trash rack consists of vertical MS flats (40 mm × 12 mm) which is to be welded to new MS chnanels ISMC 125 100 ft app., channels, bracings, and supports (IS 808:1989). The frame shall be fabricated using suitable MS sections with adequate rigidity to withstand the hydraulic pressure and impact of floating debris. The complete assembly shall be cleaned, sandblasted, and coated with two coats of red oxide primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint for corrosion protection. The specifications of MS members can adjust as per site conditions. The Job includes cost of material, consumable, handling loading, unloading, transportation charge, labour charges for both skilled/semiskilled labour, welding charges, lifting, positioning, alignment and hiring charges for crane, tripod stand, tools & tackles and any incidental charges required during the execution of the job at site.
