| 32 | Note for Srl Item No.1.00 to 31(i) Any material required for attending complaints shall be measured and paid under above mentioned relevent items.(ii) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of expert and experienced plumber/pipe fitter all as directed.The plumber with helper should present in complaint cell at 9.00 am on daily basis.(iii) The complaints shall be attended and defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 100/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from contractor's dues.Contractor rep shall be available wef 0800 hrs to 2000 Hrs to receive and notify the complaint.(iv) In case, after checking and attending the defect, it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in -charge by the contractor /his rep . If Engineer -in-charge is satisfied with contractors view, no recovery will be made.(v) Cutting of GI pipe in position and threading is also deemed to be included in the job rate (Fitting and fixtures will be measured and paid separetely under respective item of Sch A.(vi) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters , Taps , Pipe wrench, Chain wrench,Caulking tools, Complete set of spanners and ladders etc…, as required at site. (vii) The complaints for the above work shall be collected by contractor rep from MES maint incharge on daily basis.Required stationary such as complaint register ,job card etc shall be arranged and maintained by contractor. |
| 33 | Run lead including spurn yarn suitable for 80mm bore CI/DI pipe including taking out old unserviceable run lead / spurn yarn, complete all as specified & directed. |
| 34 | Run lead including spurn yarn suitable for 100mm bore CI/DI pipe including taking out old unserviceable run lead / spurn yarn, complete all as specified & directed. |

| 37 | M&L for Lifting defective submersible pumpset, column pipes (any number) from bore well (any depth/size), setting aside and stacking column pipes for reuse, lowering of submersible pumpset alongwith column pipes in the bore well as existing and making water and electrical connections as existing for running of pump motors complete all as directed. Notes : (i)Lifting / lowering shall be measured and paid only once for same nature of repair.(ii) Contractor shall attend and rectify the breakdown within 12 hours failing which a recovery of `Rs 500/hour shall be effected.(iii) In case the submersible pump set falls down during Extn/ Lowering/Lifting, No extra payment to be made to the contractor for this work. |

| 40 | Repairs to submersible pumpset of capacity 30 - 35 HP, 3 phase, 415 volts involving the following operations :(a) Opening of the defective motor in MES yard / pump house/ workshop, cleaning the covers and parts as applicable in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to ascertain the quantum of defects and repairs involved.(b) Transporting the defective motor to contractor's workshop for repairs as directed by the Engineer in Charge and carrying out the needful repairs including replacement of defective unserviceable parts.(c) Assembling the motor after repair.d) Spray painting the repaired motor externally with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of shade as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.(e) Transporting the repaired motor to MES yard/ workshop and carrying out necessary test in presence of Engineer-in-Charge to establish the functionability of the repaired motor up to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
